Our society upholds the highest standards of integrity, innovation, and continuous learning to prepare future financial leaders. Together, we cultivate a community of driven individuals dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the world of finance.
AFS is structured around three distinct career-focused branches, each designed to support students with varying interests within the field of finance:
Derivatives – Designed for students interested in careers in trading and markets. This branch introduces members to the fundamentals of options, futures, and other financial instruments. Students learn how to trade, understand market movements, and analyze risk strategies commonly used on trading floors.
Financial Institutions & Banking – Geared toward students pursuing careers in commercial banking, lending, and financial analysis. This track offers insights into the workings of financial institutions, money management, and credit risk. Students apply their knowledge through real-world simulations and programs like JPMorgan’s Forage experience.
Wealth Management – Tailored for students interested in client-facing roles such as financial advising and portfolio management. Members hear from local and regional professionals, participate in financial planning simulations, and take part in firm visits across the region to gain exposure to the industry.
